ELA-- There is daily reading of twenty minutes.
The next IRP will be due approximately Feb. 20th. They should be writing the rough drafts of their reflections right now. The book should be finished. They have decided on the book project they will do for this next IRP. This should keep them on track, and help them manage their time more efficiently.
--Get the vocabulary unit 5 test signed and returned to school.
--A "Mind Map" has been introduced for the next novel assignment. No due date has been set, however, students should have completed the rough draft of it.
Math-- 6.5 textbook questions (on page 227/228) #7 a and b, #8 a and b, #9 a and b., and, in problem format, #12 for tomorrow. POW#18 is due Tuesday, the latest.
SS--
Science-- The unit test will be written tomorrow, Friday, Feb.13. Have pink booklet in class tomorrow.

*****For "I Love to Read Month", I shared my favorite children's book, Love You Forever. I would like the students to choose their favorite childhood book, bring it to class, and share it with us. We have also started a Reading Board Game which will continue to the end of the year.
******We discussed the MS Read-a-thon today, and I handed out pledge sheets. I have encouraged the students to take part in this worthy fundraiser. We will continue with it until early March
