Daily Update--April 30, 2014

ELA--  Students need to be working on their IRP as the first one for this term is due May 2nd/May 5th.


Math--  10.2 textbook questions page 382 and 383--Show you know--a and b; page 385--#7c and d, page 386 #16 in problem format for tomorrow. We will be having a short assessment on Friday dealing with linear equations. The weekly POW is due Friday.

Social Studies -- "Predicting the Meanings" worksheet is due tomorrow.

Science-- Make a decision as to what your situation/scenario will be along with the criteria outlined for your upcoming project. This must be decided on by Thursday, the latest.

  French--Dictee is on Thursday.


8R Science-- Make a decision as to what your situation/scenario will be along with the criteria outlined for your upcoming project. This must be decided on by Wednesday, the latest. Work on the diagram section of your lab report.

Course selection evening is tonight at 7pm. The selection sheets are due into the office by May 8th.

ELA--Unit 7 Vocab test will be tomorrow--Wednesday, April 30th. Students need to be reviewing tonight. We are working on a novel study for I Am David, so students will be having daily assignments to work on and complete. For Wednesday, they need to answer the question about what they would do if they knew nothing of their past except their name. Students need to be working on their IRP as the first one for this term is due May 2nd/May 5th.

ELA--Unit 7 Vocab test will be Wednesday, April 30th. Students need to be reviewing every night. We are working on a novel study for I Am David, so students will be having daily assignments to work on and complete. For Tuesday, they need to answer questions # 1 to 7 directly in the novel package. Students need to be working on their IRP as the first one for this term is due May 2nd/May 5th.

The students who are going to Elie for badminton on Monday need to have their gym clothes, runners, and racket at school. Bring something to eat as we will be leaving at 2:45 and returning about 8pm. Make sure that your permission form and $10 are handed into the office. I will be collecting $5 for the bus trip.
