The Grade Eight students and staff would like to invite you to our Significant Discoveries Fair 2019. This event will be held on Friday June 7th. Most of the pavilions will be set up around the grade eight area. There are some that will be hosted outside and you will be directed to them from the grade eight area. The doors will open at 11:00 am and will close at 1:00pm.

The students have been working diligently for the past few weeks gathering information, writing research papers and building models about significant discoveries, events, or traditional stories throughout history and sharing this knowledge with their peers.

This particular fair is not particularly “food based” however some groups have chosen to look at ancient cuisine. In the course of their presentation these groups will be offering some samples of their discoveries. The preparation and cost of these dishes should be shared equally by the group members. Because of food allergies, please be sure that the food being prepared does not contain nuts or seafood of any kind.

See you on Friday June 7th!

Thank-you,
