****I apologize for not entering an update on Friday, but my laptop is not working right now.
I have now found another way to update this site.
ELA--Daily reading for at least 20 minutes. We have discussed (with a handout) the IRP program and assignment which students need to start working on with sticky notes as they are reading their books.
--The rough draft of their friendly letter to me is due tomorrow so they can edit and type it. The final, good copy is due Thursday.
Math--The first POW (problem of the week) was given today and is due Friday.
SS--Glossary worksheet and the write-up of 'First Day of Grade 8" is due Thursday.
8D SS--Index/Glossary pages are due for next day.
Science--
French--Poster is due tomorrow.
7M SS-- Get the contract signed and returned to class asap.
7C SS--Have the contracts signed and returned tomorrow.
Terry Fox Pledge Sheets were handed out today, and we hope all students will get involved and collect as many pledges as they can. Our school run will be held next Friday, Sept. 25th. Thank you for your anticipated support.
