ELA--Daily reading for at least 20 minutes. Students should be working on the IRP assignment by reading their chosen book and using sticky notes to bookmark important information, vocabulary, etc.
The rough draft should also be started. The due date for the first IRP is Oct.9/13.
--We have set the date for our Unit 1 vocabulary test for tomorrow. Review all of the words tonight.
--The Bio-Poem was introduced and explained yesterday so students should be working on the rough draft of this poem. No due date has been set yet.
Math--POW #2 is due Friday.
--On page 86/87 work on #23 and 25.
--Worksheet 3.1 questions #5 a and b, #7 a and b, #13 a to d, and #19 a and b---for tomorrow.
--Short quiz tomorrow.
SS-The first "Weekly News" is due Friday. Get it done early and hand it in.
--A short quiz on Centuries and Measuring Time will be given on Friday. Review the handout and worksheet.
