ELA--Daily reading for at least 20 minutes. We have discussed (with a handout) the IRP program and assignment which students need to start working on with sticky notes as they are reading their books.
--The rough draft of their friendly letter to me is due so they can edit and type it. The final, good copy is due Thursday.
--We have set the date for our Unit 1 vocabulary test for next Wednesday. Start reviewing a few words everyday.
--I assigned "Evidence of Learning" assignment today. It is due by next Tuesday.
Math--The first POW (problem of the week) was given today and is due Friday.
SS--Glossary worksheet and the write-up of 'First Day of Grade 8" is due Thursday.
8D SS-
Science--
French--Poster and banner is due by Friday.
7M SS-- Get the contract signed and returned to class asap.
7C SS--Have the contracts signed and returned tomorrow.
Terry Fox Pledge Sheets were handed out today, and we hope all students will get involved and collect as many pledges as they can. Our school run will be held next Friday, Sept. 25th. Thank you for your anticipated support.
