Daily Update--Sept.19/14

ELA--Students should be reading daily for 20 minutes and working towards their first IRP which is due October 1st.

  The first vocabulary test will be written next Tuesday, Sept. 23. Students should review 4 to 5 words a night and then by Monday night, review all 20 words. Students need to know the definitions of the words, their synonyms, antonyms, and how to use the words correctly in descriptive sentences. We will be reviewing every day in class as well.

Math--3.1 in the textbook pages 86/87 questions #17,`18, 19 in problem format, #21,23,and 25 are due Monday.
 
Science--I have asked the students to collect grasshoppers and crickets for our Science dissection class. Place in vented plastic containers with some grass in them.

****Students have pledge sheets to collect pledges for the Terry Fox Run/Walk which will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 24/14.
 
****Students still need to bring in Kleenex to class, please.
