Daily Update--February 7/13

ELA-- Some IRPs were not handed in today and are late. They must be in on Monday. Get January reading calendars signed asap. Students were assigned a new "Evidence of Learning" assignment for unit 5 vocabulary words which they are presently working on. It will be due by middle of next week (Wed./Thurs.)  The vocabulary test for unit 5 will be written on Friday.

Math--  Students need to work through the remainder of the exam review package in preparation of the Math exam which will be written on  Monday. We talked about having a pencil case with several pencils and an eraser in it. They can also bring a calculator to the exam.

 SS--  The 3 point approach project (poster and model) were due today. Some projects are late and need to be in on Monday. Practice presentations and skits as the projects will be presented on Monday. A test on the 24 words presented in class will be written by the end of the week.

 

Science--Bring in a shoebox with lid to school on Monday for our next experiment.

We talked about studying Math over the weekend, and the importance of having a good night's sleep on Sunday, as well as a good breakfast on Monday morning.
