Daily Update--February 25/14

ELA--  The essay rubric needs to be signed and handed in, as well as the unit 5 vocabulary test. Students should be working on the third IRP which is a book report choice. This is due March 7th. Work a bit on it every night.  A short story unit project has been handed out, and the comprehension questions on  "Dreams" should be finished. Now the students should also have read the other five stories and decided which story frames to complete on two of those stories.
Vocabulary unit 6 synonyms and antonyms is due tomorrow.

Math--8.4 textbook questions on page 330-311--#7,8,9,10, and in problem format #11,12a, and #15, and then work through #16,17, and 18 for tomorrow.

SS-- Get the map quiz signed; do corrections on the 3-Point Approach test and get it signed. Return both to school asap. The dictionary section of the Egypt project should be completed to stay on schedule; and students should be researching their chosen topic. Make jot notes, and do not cut and paste. Think about the "Pecha Kucha" presentation model.

French--Be working on your project.

8R-Science-Aim #20--Lens--#1 to 19 for tomorrow.
