Daily Update--February 21/14

ELA--  The essay rubric needs to be signed and handed in, as well as the unit 5 vocabulary test. Students should be working on the third IRP which is a book report choice. This is due March 7th. Get a head start on it! A short story unit project has been handed out, and the first thing the students should do is read the story "Dreams" and work on the comprehension questions. The questions should be done by Monday to stay on schedule, and they should start reading the other 5 stories.

Math--8.3 worksheet, questions #1 to 8 (just the equations), #9 a and b, and in problem format #10 and #11 for Monday. This unit is short, so we will probably have a test at the end of next week.

SS-- Get the map quiz signed; do corrections on the 3-Point Approach test and get it signed. Return both to school asap. The dictionary section of the Egypt project should be completed by Monday to stay on schedule.

Science--Complete the diagram of "Reflected Light" on page 279 and have definitions for the six terms.

French--Be working on your project.

8R-Science- Refraction booklet questions on pages 5,6, and half of 7 are due Monday.

Have a great weekend! Stay warm!
