Daily Update--October 25/18

ELA--Silent reading for 20minutes every day.

 --You should be reading and using sticky notes in preparation of IRP #2. The due date has been moved to Nov.6th/9th.

 --Watch your favorite TV program and fill in the plot diagram as your short story assignment which will be due by next Tuesday. If you do not watch TV, then you need to talk to Mrs. Thompson to come up with an alternative plan.


--The next "Evidence of Learning" for unit 2 is to be worked on--choose your 10+ words and a topic. Then start on your rough draft of the descriptive paragraph. The final good copy will be due by next Tuesday.


--The Unit 2 Vocabulary test will be written on Friday, Nov.2nd.


--There will be a surprise quiz on the plurals of nouns and possessive forms of nouns some day soon!!!



MATH:
--Work on Pythagorean Relationship worksheets--2 of them-- due tomorrow.

 --POW #3 is due by Friday.


SCIENCE:  8T
--Spelling test of the animal cell's organelles will be on Friday.


SCIENCE 8E--
----Have your unit test signed and returned to class.

 --Diagram quiz of the animal cell will be next Tuesday, October 30th.


SOCIAL STUDIES:

--Test on Monday.

FRENCH--


ART--A test on shading techniques will be written on Friday.
