ELA--Silent reading for 20minutes every day.
--Students should be reading and working on their IRP which is due Tuesday, October 9/18. A detailed handout is in their reading journal, and samples have been shown in class. It is an assignment that needs to be worked on over several days and not the night before it is due so we have been discussing strategies to work on the assignment.
--The "Bio-Poem" was introduced last week, and students need to be working on the rough draft of it. No due date has been set yet.

**** Terry Fox pledge sheets were handed out last week, and we ask the students to use the last few days to collect as many pledges as they can. Pledge sheets are to be handed in tomorrow before our run. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Thank you for your support!
