Daily Update--January 21/14

ELA--Daily reading.  Have December's reading calendars signed asap.  For the novel essay, students should have the second draft of their essay typed so they can do more editing and revising. This is to keep them on schedule as the final good copy of the essay will be due Friday, January 24th.  Grammar review for next week's exam has begun, and two worksheets are due tomorrow.

Math--  POW #15 is due Monday. Chapter review on pages 236-237 questions #  1,2,3,7,8,and 13 plus #14 in problem format is due for tomorrow. A unit test on fractions will be written on Friday if we feel that we are ready, and all review gets completed.

 SS-- Students need to work on their Sumerian letters (two of them) in response to the Help Wanted Ads. They are due tomorrow.

 

Science--Get the unit test signed and returned tomorrow. Title page with all requirements is due by Friday.  Aim #1 on energy is due tomorrow.

 

French--Project is due Feb.3. Dictee is on Feb.4.

 

Health--Reading is to be done for next class.

 

Art--Bring in 2 white raw eggs for our next project.

8R-Science--"The Challenge" inquiry question is due Friday.
