ELA--Silent reading for 20minutes every day.
--The unit test on vocabulary 3 will be written on Wednesday, Nov.28th.
-A short story unit project is a work in progress. To stay on schedule, students should already have completed the comprehension questions, and now should be working on Part C--Character Analysis. The due date for the entire project is set for Monday, Dec. 3rd. We have discussed the fact that this is a project that cannot be left to do on Dec. 1st so we will be talking about managing time and work.
--The students are choosing books out of their comfort zones in terms of genre, and they will be reading these for their 3rd IRP (due just before Christmas break--Dec.19/20th).
MATH:
--Continually review the Conversion Chart (fractions to decimals to percents) to be prepared for the Mental Math quizzes.
--Get the unit test signed and returned asap.

SOCIAL STUDIES:
--The Inquiry Project is due November 28th.

Cooking test will be on Friday.
