ELA: Silent reading for 20 minutes.
--Vocabulary unit 6 --last two pages are due.
--Get Unit 5 vocabulary test signed.
--For "I Love to Read Month", students are asked to bring in their favorite children's book, and they will be taking turns reading theirs to the class.
--Starting thinking about your next IRP. You should be reading a new book, and using sticky notes.
--The students are reading the short story, "Catch", and answering comprehension questions about the story. These questions are due by Friday.
Math: The exam checklist and an exam review booklet have been handed out. Students should start going over concepts which they struggle with. Today we were reviewing estimating of square roots, and scientific notation.Students know the questions to work on.
--POW # 12 is due Friday.
SS--- Map test on Egypt and surrounding countries will be next Thursday, Feb.25th.
Science--Test on water systems will be on Monday.
French--Sandwiches
