ELA: Silent reading for 20 minutes. We signed a new contract today. We also surpassed our December goal!!!!!
--Unit 5 vocabulary --synonyms and antonyms page is due tomorrow..
--If you did not complete or hand in your novel chapter 9 assignment, you must do so by tomorrow.
--The new IRP format has been handed out and explained. The first IRP will be due the last week of January. No later than January 28th.
Math: POW #9 was assigned and is due by Friday.
--Page 151--#12 d, e, and f, #14 in mental math strategy, #16... and in the worksheet--the circled numbers.
--We will be writing a unit test on per cents on Monday, January 11th.
SS--Get your project rubrics and unit test signed.
--Complete the civilization web.

8D SS--Review your notes and practice quizzes as you will be writing the test on Ancient Settlements and Structures on Thursday, January 7th.
7M SS--Map project is due Monday.
7C SS--Map project is due Monday.
***I will be away tomorrow as it is Ukrainian Christmas and I celebrate it with my family, so here will be no daily update tomorrow.
***We will be having a 1960's party on Tuesday, Jan.12 to celebrate reaching our December class reading goal , and to watch the movie, The Outsiders. Students are to ask at home what they can bring for the party in terms of food, costumes, and music.
