ELA--Daily reading should occur every evening as the students have set individual reading goals which they will strive to meet by the end of the month (October 3).
--Please have the pink coloured Classroom Expectations contract read, signed, and returned to school as soon as possible.
--Registration forms and immunization forms also need to be signed and returned to school asap.

Daily Update--Sept.9,2016
The end of the first week! I hope your child has told you about this site.
Homework for the weekend will be to complete and hand in the registration forms and immunization forms, read through and sign the 8T Expectations contract and return to school, as well as get all supplies labeled and brought to school for Monday.
We have chosen books to read so there is "Daily Reading" for about 20 minutes each night.

Daily Update--Sept.8, 2016
Welcome to a new school year!
I hope your son/daughter has told you about my blog. I will be posting homework daily on this site so please check it. I have encouraged the students to always check it if they forget what homework they have to complete for the next day.
Tonight, the students need to have their parents check over the registration forms and the immunization forms; then please return them to the school asap.
We had a great day together! I am really looking forward to the rest of the year with my energetic 8T students!!!
Tomorrow we will be having a gym riot (starting at 2:00) so students are asked to dress in their team's colour.
