Daily Update--May 30/14




ELA--  Read and work towards the next (and final) IRP which is due Friday,June 6th. The rough draft for Chapters 3/4 of the Memory Book should be done by Monday. May reading calendars are due Monday. Keep reading towards your goals.

Math--Textbook 3.4 questions on page 104-105  #3a, #4 b, #6, #7 , and 9 are due Monday.

Social Studies

Science--Have summary of Article done for tomorrow.

 Art--Your templates are due as all current assignments must be completed for the Arts Appreciation Night which is June 4th.
 
Thank you to everyone who brought food for our Roman Games Morning as we had a great time dressing up in our togas, playing our Roman games, and feasting on our Roman food.

Daily Update--May 27/14



ELA--  Read and work towards the next (and final) IRP which is due June 6th. The rough draft for Chapter 2 of the Memory Book should be done by Thursday. Start working on rough draft of chapter 3.  Reading of Chapter 5 in the novel has been assigned along with pages 26 to 29 in the booklet. This is due Friday.

Math--POW # 27 is due Friday. Textbook 3.2 questions on page 92-94  #5 a and b, #7 a and b  , 9 and 10are due for tomorrow.

Social Studies --A letter was sent home yesterday in regards to our Roman Games Morning! Please discuss at home as to what food you can bring for Friday. Let me know tomorrow, if possible. You also need to find a flat sheet of any colour (but white is preferable), and bring to school.

Daily Update--Tuesday, May 27/14


ELA--  Read and work towards the next (and final) IRP which is due June 6th. You also need to bring a duo-tang to class for the ELA project which is a Memory Book. The rough draft for Chapter 2 of the Memory Book should be done by Wed/Thursday. Reading of Chapter 5 in the novel has been assigned along with pages 26 to 29 in the booklet. This is due Friday.

Math-- Do your corrections on the unit test and get it signed and returned to school asap. Worksheet 3.2 questions #1 a, 2 a and b, #3a, #4 a and b, #5, 6 a, and #7 a and b are due for tomorrow.

Science--Have the "Tiring Story" assignment questions done for tomorrow.

French--Adventure is due Wednesday.

Social Studies -- You should be working on your board game by reading and making up questions for your specific categories. Questions should already be made up with answers.  Game will be due by end of Monday's class.

Science--Have the Titanic assignment in by tomorrow.

French--Adventure is due Wednesday.

ELA-- Get April reading calendars signed. Start reading chapter 4 in I Am David and complete the first 4 vocabulary words on page 22. The rest of the questions for chapter 4 (pages 22-25) are due by Friday. Read and work towards the next (and final) IRP which is due early June.

Math--  Review the chapter's concepts as we will be having a unit test Wednesday, May 21st. Complete pages 400-401 in the textbook questions #17, 18,21, and in pf #15.
