Daily Update March 20/14

ELA-- February calendars need to be signed and handed in asap. Students are working on their unit 6 "Evidence of Learning" which is a "Word Scene"--a story incorporating the twenty vocab words and then accompanying the story with illustrations. Students Word Scene is due Monday, March 24th.

Math- 9.2 green worksheet questions #1 to 9 are due.  P.O.W #20 is due Friday, March 21st.

Science--You should be designing and building your optical device as it will be due tomorrow, Friday, March 21st.

A letter went home in reference to our Parent-Teacher conferences next week. Please indicate your first, second, and third choices and return the second sheet asap. Some of the appt. time sheets were sent home today confirming times.

Students Word Scene is due Monday, March 24th.

Math- Get Integer unit test corrected, signed, and returned to school. P.O.W #20 is due Friday, March 21st.

Students have started their unit 6 "Evidence of Learning" which is a "Word Scene"--a story incorporating the twenty vocab words and then accompanying the story with illustrations. Students should have their rough draft completed for Monday. No due date has been set yet for the entire project.

Math- Get Integer unit test corrected, signed, and returned to school. Textbook 9.1 questions #5,6,8,9,11,12,and 14 on pages 337-339 are due Monday.

 

Science--Begin designing and building your optical device as it will be due next Friday. The unit test will be written next Thursday. Concept overview on telescopes is due Monday. Test review package #1 to 5 is due MOnday as well.

Students have started their unit 6 "Evidence of Learning" which is a "Word Scene"--a story incorporating the twenty vocab words and then accompanying the story with illustrations. Students should have their story idea and be working on the rough draft. No due date has been set yet.

 

Math- POW #19 is due tomorrow as there is no school on Friday. Get Integer unit test corrected, signed, and returned to school. Worksheet 9.1 questions are due tomorrow.

 SS--  Pecha Kucha Egypt power point presentations will continue. Those who still need to present should practice tonight and be ready for tomorrow. All presentations will be completed tomorrow. Notes from the presentations will be handed in after the presentations.
