Daily Update--October 31/13

ELA--The novel assignment that the students have been working on is all due by tomorrow with 35 minutes in class to complete. All October calendars are due tomorrow as we will be tallying up our pages to see if we have reached our individual and class goals this month. Vocabulary test is on Tuesday. Evidence of Learning is due next Thursday. Third IRP is due Wednesday.

Math--Worksheet 4.2 and POW will be due tomorrow.

8R- Science--"Analyze" questions from the lab are due tomorrow.

Tomorrow is also Team Colours Day so wear your team colours for the Gym Riot.

ELA--The summary and reflections assignment for Chapter 3 in the novel is all due Friday. There will be 30 minutes of final work time on Friday. Work on the third IRP which is due Nov.6. Review the vocabulary Unit 3 words for Tuesday's test. All reading calendars are due Friday.

Math--POW is due Friday. Review the % Conversion Chart for the next surprise quiz.

Science--Complete the "Analyze" questions from the lab today. These are due tomorrow.

French--Dictee is Nov.12.


Tomorrow is "Costume Day" or "Orange and Black Day".

ELA--Summary of Chapter 3 should already be typed, and you are working on the rough draft of the reflections. The good copies of everything should be handed in by Friday. Vocabulary UNit 3 test will be on Tuesday of next week. Your reading calendar is due Friday.

Math--POW is due Friday.

Science--Get your quiz signed.

French--Think of three commands.

Tomorrow is Graffiti Day for Spirit Week.

ELA--Your rough draft of the summary of chapter 3 in the novel should be edited and revised, ready for typing tomorrow. Rough draft of the Reflections section should be done tomorrow or by Wednesday the latest. Our October calendars are due Friday. The third IRP is due by Nov.6.

Math--POW is due Friday. 4.1 in the textbook pages 128-129 questions #4 to 9 and then #11 in problem format is all due by tomorrow. Review the Percent Conversion chart for a short surprise quiz tomorrow.

Science--Get your Functions Quiz signed and returned tomorrow.

French--Good copy of your poem is due tomorrow.


Tomorrow is Cowboy/Twin Day. Remember to dress up.

ELA--Unit 3 vocabulary booklet is due Monday. The jot notes and rough draft of the summary of chapter 3 is due Monday. You can work ahead and write the rough draft of the reflections too. Work on the third IRP.

Math--Complete the Percent Conversion Chart for Monday. Bring in corrected and signed Unit tests.

Science--Have the crossword puzzle completed for Monday.

SS--Have the "Putting Words Together" worksheet completed for Monday.

French--Lab info is due Monday. Good copies of poems are due Tuesday.

Woodworking booklet is due Monday.

ELA--The Unit 3 vocabulary booklet is due Monday. Skim over chapter 3 in the novel as the assignment will be discussed tomorrow.

Math--The Unit Test needs to be signed and the corrections need to be completed for tomorrow. We will be correcting the rest of the green worksheet tomorrow.

Science--Some of the animal cell models still have not been handed in.

French--Lab information is due Monday. Good copy of the poem due Tuesday.

SS-Some personal timelines need to be handed in asap.

I was at an in-service today so was not at school. The homework though is similar to yesterday.

ELA--Vocabulary Unit 2 Synonym/Antonym page is due tomorrow. Exercise 25 and 26 in the Adjective booklet is due tomorrow as well. Finish reading chapter 3 in the novel for tomorrow.

Math--Green worksheet 4.1 introducing percents is due tomorrow.

Science--Animal cell functions quiz is tomorrow.

SS--Personal timelines are due tomorrow.
