Tomorrow we are watching the movie, The Hunger Games, as our Reading Party so students can bring in munchies for themselves.

Daily Update--Feb.26/13
ELA--Their "Evidence of Learning" short story is due tomorrow with a cover and back jacket and all rough drafts. The students need to read the short story, "Catch", and then answer the comprehension questions that go along with it. This is due Thursday. The final book project for this term is due Monday. Get vocabulary test unit 6 signed and returned to school.
SS--Research should almost be complete, and students should be working on their powerpoint slides.
French--Postcards are due Thursday.
Health--Test is tomorrow.
Course selection sheets were handed out today, and the students met with Mr. Phillips. Tomorrow night is an informational meeting for parents to discuss course selections for the students. The forms are due by next Tuesday.

ELA--The good copy of "Evidence of Learning" story is due Wednesday. The process must also be included, along with a front and back cover. Fourth and final book project for this term is due next MOnday.

Daily Update--Feb.20/13
ELA--Continue to review for Friday's vocabulary test on unit 6. The rough draft of their "Evidence of Learning" story should be close to finished so we can start revising and editting. For tomorrow, students need to finish reading their particular short story, and complete the plot diagram as a rough draft. Vocabulary unit 5 test needs to be signed and returned to school. Work towards the fourth IRP/book project which is due March 4th.
Math--The work assigned last Friday needs to be completed.
Science--The crossword puzzle and page 23 and 25 in the blue booklet will be due tomorrow.
SS--The reading strategy that was assigned on Friday is due tomorrow. I am restating this as some of the students did not complete their Science homework that assigned on Friday, and there were many days to complete the work.

Math--We started integers. Work on the white worksheet and 8.1 yellow worksheet, omitting #4. This is due Tuesday.
Science--Complete the diagrams of umbra and penumbra. Answer questions #4 to 7 on page 271, and on page 275--#1,2, and 5 for Tuesday.
SS--Complete the reading strategy assignment for Tuesday.
French--Dictee rewrite is on Tuesday.
