Daily Update--May 9/19

ELA--Silent reading for 20 minutes every day.


 -- IRP (#5) is due tomorrow for extra marks. If someone needs the extra time, they have until Monday to submit it to me.


--We will be having our 1960's party next Thursday to commemorate the reading of the Outsiders novel. We will need to bring in favorite food and drinks from that time period and dress accordingly!
We will also be watching the movie that morning!


MATH

 --The yellow worksheet--10.2--   questions 8 and 10 , and if they can, #9 for tomorrow.

--Comprehension test of chapters 11 and1 2 in the novel will be written tomorrow, Thursday.


 --The next IRP (#5) will be due the week of May 6-10th. Students should be working on their powerpoint presentation. A complete, detailed explanation of criteria along with tips and a rubric were given out and explained a while ago.

 --The white worksheet   questions 1 to 20 are due next Math class-Thursday.

--Unit 7 vocabulary booklet (the rest of it) is due Friday.

 --Math project idea is due for tomorrow. The Math project itself is due by next Friday, May 3rd.
