Daily Update--May 12/14

ELA-- Get April reading calendars signed. All  novel booklets were handed in today. Grammar worksheet (page 59) on complex sentences is due tomorrow.Read and work towards the next (and final) IRP which is due early June.

Math-- POW #26 was given today, and is due Friday. Review the chapter's concepts as we will be having a unit test within the week. Have the Informal assessment corrections and signatures in asap.

Social Studies -- Review the map of Ancient Rome as we will have a Map Quiz on Thursday.

Science-- Complete the Density Booklet for tomorrow. 

 French--Written assignment in Voyageur booklet is due tomorrow.


8R Science-- Prepare for the surprise quiz on "Density" which will be on Tuesday.

ELA--For the novel study, students need to finish reading chapter 2 and, for Monday, have the vocabulary page completed as well as pages 12,13, and 14. Get April reading calendars signed.

Social Studies -- Have Greece test signed and returned asap.  Ancient Rome map assignment is due Monday.

8R Science-- Prepare for the surprise quiz on "Density" which will be on Tuesday.

 

We had our reading party today so to those students who brought movies and/or munchies, thank you!

 

The students are to do some EXTRA SPECIAL for their mothers this weekend.

ELA--For the novel study, students need to be reading chapter 2 and, for tomorrow, have the vocabulary page completed as well as page 11. They can continue to work on pages 12,13, and 14 but these pages are not due for tomorrow. Get April reading calendars signed.


Math--  The weekly POW is due tomorrow.  10.3 textbook questions # 8,10,11, and in problem format #13 a and #14 for tomorrow as well as the Informal assessment corrections and signatures.

Social Studies -- Have Greece test signed and returned asap.  Ancient Rome map assignment is due Monday.

Begin reading chapter 2 in the novel. Get April reading calendars signed.
