Report cards and portfolios are going home today. I hope you have a chance to go over the portfolio with your son/daughter before the interviews. I have also sent back home the letter confirming interview times. I hope the slight changes which I have made will be fine. Please let me know if we need to make any changes.

ELA--We will be correcting the Synonym/Antonym page in Unit 4 Vocabulary Unit tomorrow so it needs to be completed. October reading calendars need to be signed, along with Unit 3 vocabulary tests.
Math--One question on the handout needs to be completed.
SS--Early Peoples Settlement project and model will be due Friday.
Science--Unit test is next Monday so students should be reviewing. The orange worksheet on diffusion is due tomorrow.

Science--Worksheet on "Diffusion in Your Life" is due Thursday. Unit test is on Monday. A checklist has been given, as well as study strategies discussed.
French--Dictee, worksheets, and baseball activity are all due Nov.15. Also work on the scenarios.

Daily Update--Nov.6/13
Hi there!
I am finally back at school today. I was sick and could not even talk for the last two days so I did not update the blog. My apologies.
ELA--The third IRP should be in by tomorrow. The "Evidence of Learning" is also due for tomorrow.
Math--The POW will be due for Tuesday. There is extra help offered during the noon hours for students who are struggling with the most recent concepts and students should be coming in for the help.
SS--Get the Personal Timeline rubric signed and returned tomorrow. Students are presently working on an Early Settlements project either individually or with a partner. They should be gathering information in the form of jot notes. The project includes a model as well. The due date will be next week.
French--Dictee on Nov. 15. Worksheets due the same day. Students should be working on their scenarios.
